What is the process in making a movie?
PRE-PRODUCTION
1. VMN coordinators and the VMN writers guild provide scripts for VMN producers.
2. VMN Producers translate the scripts into Manobo and contextualize it. Then a six weeks pre-production phase will begin. (Scripting).
3. (Scheduling) VMN Producers submit the VMN budget form for approval.
4. VMN Producers submit the following.
a. Numbers and names of cast.
b. Props needed.
c. Location description.
d. Names and numbers of crew.
e. Form for Equipment needed. (Equipment must be ready and in good condition before submitting).
PRODUCTION
1. Everything in the Pre-Production is supposed to be well done and prepared for the trip.
2. Rehearsal:
a. Familiarize the script and its lines.
b. Signing of agreement form of all cast and crews.
3. Shooting Time. A production takes about two to three weeks.
4. During the whole time of the production phase a meaningful morning devotion for all the staff, the crews and the cast and characters will be held.
POST-PRODUCTION
1. (Editing), choosing the best shots and re-shooting if necessary. Log-in done during editing and 3 weeks of post-production.
2. (Preview), checking the best chosen shots before giving the final entry. Re-shooting is done if necessary.
3. (Premier) , first show of the finished product.
4. (Show), ready to be used as a tool for evangelism, and teaching in a number of Manobo groups. Declaring the gospel through video.
