People whom we serve are often called Tribal or Indigenous People

1. Generally speaking, they are open to the gospel.

2. Marriages are sometimes arranged when children are still young.

4. Polygamy is still being practiced.

5. Most of the Tribal people look into an uncertain future, with little land available.

6. Most of them desire to have their children go to school right up to college if that were possible.

7. Some young people are migrating to urban centres looking for work.

8. As semi – nomadic people, they were mainly food gatherers.

9. Indigenous people generally strive for peace.

10. To be a Tribal person is to be poor.

11. The evil spirits control and dictate the life of the tribal people as a whole.
